Enrique Iglesias is one of Delilah’s sweet boys — he and his brother Jim Carrey came to us from the same breeder as their mum, arriving over the summer months (a few months after her) and well before PAWS opened its doors.

Both Enrique and Jim needed a little extra intentional care at the beginning. As young kittens, they spent most of the summer in a quiet, separate home. This gave the brothers time to stay together and adjust gently, with plenty of focused attention and no rush to meet the bigger group. It was the perfect calm start for them ♡

When Enrique first joined the full crew, he was one of the most startled little ones. Quiet, timid, and shy, any sudden movement would send him jumping and scurrying for cover. You’d never guess it now!

Being around the other cats — and all the patient love from our team — has helped his confidence grow beautifully. Enrique has turned into the most affectionate, goofy, and energetic cat, full of young spirit. He loves to play, zoom around with his silly antics, and soak up every bit of attention from visitors.

From hiding under anything in sight to becoming the lively, loving heart of the cafe, Enrique’s transformation is pure joy to see. He greets the day with enthusiasm and shares his big heart with everyone he meets ♡
